Approaching Mandarin
Dive into the world of Mandarin with this bite sized class!
For February, we are offering a 50% discount on this session!
Each class is 1 hour long, and costs ₹300/US$5 to attend.
This class is suitable for absolute beginners, especially for those who are interested in picking up the language long term.
Participants should be 13+ years.
I usually restrict the attendance to 6 participants at a time.
The focus is not so much on conversation, as on the logic and inner workings of the language. I cover the two types of language systems and how we relate to them, the basics of Pinyin, how characters are formed, and how to use the Chinese language dictionary.
The Magic of Mandarin

This session is 2 hour long, and costs ₹500/US$10 to attend.
This class is suitable for absolute beginners. I invite everyone who is interested in getting a glimpse into the workings of this language. Corporates, student festival organizers and agents looking for group bookings please write in!
Participants should be 16+ years.
I usually restrict the attendance to 6 participants at a time.
The session is divided into three sections.
The first section focusses on the logic and inner workings of the language. This will include language systems and development, an an in depth introduction to Pinyin.
The second section focusses on breaking down Chinese characters, and how to navigate the online Chinese dictionary.
The third part covers basic conversation, and an introduction to SVO structure.
